Safety, Science, Sewing Highlight Feb. 20 Classes

The city is offering a number of special-interest classes on Saturday, Feb. 20:

  • Childcare and Babysitting Safety; ages 10-14; $43/resident, $48/non-resident (+$15 kit fee); 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Learn the “New” CPR – CCC/AED Training; ages 12 and older; free; 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Mad Science – Revved Up Race Cars; ages 7-13; $35/resident, $40/non-resident; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Learn to Sew; ages 16 and older; $27/resident, $32/non-resident; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The sewing class will be held at The Sewin Asylum, 9420 W. Bell Road. The rest will be at Rio Vista Recreation Center, 8887 W. Thunderbird Road in Rio Vista Community Park.
