The City of Peoria is committed to the proper disposal and recycling of our citizen's waste. This is executed through the City's curbside trash and recycling service and regularly scheduled household hazardous and electronic waste collection events. Do your part and ensure that your practicing proper recycling and disposing of your potentially hazardous materials correctly.
Glendale is now providing Peoria residents a permanent drop-off location for electronics recycling. The electronics recycling (E-Waste) program offers a convenient way to recycle unwanted electronic items safely and responsibly. The E-Waste drop-off area is located at the Glendale Landfill. Peoria residents can bring both working and non-working electronic items to the landfill anytime during regular operating hours, and the program is free of charge.
How to Recycle E-Waste
Most electronic waste can be recycled at one of the City's regularly scheduled household hazardous waste collection events. The events are offered three times per calendar year in northern and southern Peoria. Click HERE to visit the houshold hazardous waste web page for more information.
