Peoria Police Department Launches "My PD" Phone App

We have just introduced a new phone app that places the Peoria Police Department at your fingertips!

The new “My PD” phone application allows us to provide you with better service and improve communication with the citizens of Peoria. With this app you can follow the latest tweets from the Peoria Police Department, send anonymous tips, commend an officer, submit feedback, ask questions, and easily find department contact information. Users also have the availability to upload photos and GPS information with the app forms.

All of the forms can be sent anonymously to the department, though we encourage an email address or phone number if you would like a response. The app can be downloaded by searching for “My Police” Department or “MyPD” in the iPhone or Android marketplace.  The police app is available to the public free of charge and is also free of any advertisements.  Once downloaded you simply choose our state and then Peoria Police.

As is the case with our other emails, online forms, and social media, this app is not for any type of emergency situation. The Peoria Police Department attempts to review all messages in a timely fashion, but does not always actively monitor all messages and activity at all times.The app is for routine questions and information sharing.
