Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods (G.A.I.N.)
The annual Peoria G.A.I.N. event is held every October at Rio Vista Park. Sponsored by Peoria’s Police & Fire Departments, the event brings together family fun and safety education in one place.
Kids of all ages enjoy the chance to get up-close looks at police cars, fire trucks, specialty emergency vehicles and equipment. Safety organizations are also in attendance with displays offering to show how to keep families safe.
However, you can't learn if you're not having fun, so there are free bouncy activities, face painting and even more kid friendly activities, making this a great night for the whole family.
G.A.I.N. (Getting Arizonans Involved in Neighborhoods) started in 1998 as a cooler weather alternative to National Night Out which is in August. The event is designed to bring all of the Peoria community together promoting our safe and family friendly city.
