Lake Pleasant Parkway Project (Westwing to Loop 303)

The Lake Pleasant Parkway Project will widen Lake Pleasant Parkway, from Westwing Parkway to Loop 303, to a four lane roadway plus bike lanes and a traffic signal. The city also will install new sewer and water mains to ensure the infrastructure is in place for future developments.

Beginning on March 11th, the next phase of this project will begin. During the first few months, contractors will blast north of the Westwing area to allow for a faster and easier installation of the sewer line. The blasting will not be noticed by residents however, vehicles traveling on Lake Pleasant Parkway will occasionally be stopped during the five- to 10-minute detonation period. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2014.
