Municipal Complex Directions and Map

The city of Peoria Municipal Complex is home to City Hall, the City Council Chambers, the Main Library, the Development and Community Services Building (DCSB), the Public Safety Administration Building (PSAB), and the Municipal Court. City Hall is located at 8401 W. Monroe Street in Peoria 85345, between Monroe Street and Cinnabar Avenue, and between 85th and 83rd Avenues.

Parking is available in open lots accessed from Monroe Street or from Cinnabar Avenue, or in parking garages located at the west and east sides of the complex. Limited covered Library parking is available in the west parking garage. Public parking is on the upper deck of both parking garages.

Normal operating hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

1. City Hall
The City Hall building faces north towards Monroe Street. Within the City Hall building is the Human Resources Department, the Office of the City Attorney, the City Clerk's Office, the Intergovernmental Affairs Office, the City Manager's Office, City Council offices, the Mayor's Office and Cafe Quench. There is also an information desk as you enter the building on the north side. Behind the City Hall building is the amphitheater. The address for City Hall is 8401 W. Monroe Street, Peoria, Arizona 85338.

2. Public Main Library
The Public Main Library is located at the northwest corner of the complex. To learn more about the public library, hours of operation and how to obtain a library card, visit the Peoria Public Library website.

3. City Council Chambers
The City Council Chambers is the location where City Council meetings are held by the Mayor and City Council. To learn more about the Mayor and City Council, visit their webpage. To learn about council meetings dates and times, click here.

4. Municipal Court Building
The Municipal Court handles criminal misdemeanors, traffic violations, city code violations, injunctions prohibiting harassment and orders of protection. It is located on the Peoria Municipal Campus at 10100 N. 83rd Ave. Visitor parking is located off West Cinnabar Avenue on the upper level of the parking garage. The court's mailing address, however, is 8401 W. Monroe St., Peoria, AZ 85345. To learn more about the Municipal Court, visit their webpage.

5. Development and Community Services Building (DCSB)
The Development and Community Services Building (DCSB)  is located adjacent to the Public Safety Administration Building (PSAB) and behind City Hall at 9875 N. 85th Avenue. Ample parking is available in front of the building on 85th Avenue.

The DCSB building is the location for the Economic Development Services Department, Engineering, Planning and Community Development, Community Services, Parks and Recreation, the Public Works-Utilities Department, Materials Management, Finance, and Management and Budget.

6. Public Safety Administration Building (PSAB)
The Police Department and Fire Administration are located in the Public Safety Administration Building, located behind the Complex, at 8351 W. Cinnabar Avenue. Limited parking is available in front of the building on Cinnabar. The Office of Communications is located in the Fire Administration area of the PSAB building and the entrance to Channel 11 is on the east side of the PSAB building.

How to get to the Municipal Complex (8401 W. Monroe St.)

If you are traveling on Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway), exit at Peoria Avenue eastbound. Take Peoria Avenue to 85th Avenue. Go south on 85th Avenue to Monroe Street.
 
If you are traveling on I-17 (Black Canyon Freeway), exit at Peoria Avenue westbound. Take Peoria Avenue to 83rd Avenue. Go south on 83rd Avenue, across Grand Avenue to Monroe Street.
 
If you are traveling on I-10 (Papago Freeway), exit at 83rd Avenue northbound. Continue northward to Monroe Street, or exit onto Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) and follow the directions above.

The Peoria Community Center is located at 8335 W. Jefferson Street, two blocks south of Peoria Avenue and two blocks north of the Municipal Complex.
